What are the benefits of the AFCPS 833 Anglemaster
The AFCPS 833 Revolution offers an innovative rotating punch press, allowing for unequaled production and versatility. The unique rotation of the punch/stamping press is driven by two hydraulic cylinders. The cylinder rotation is comparable to X-axis material advancement in conventional two press angle line. The press rotation allows for piece mark stamping on both legs of the angle, as well as versatility in regards to the loading and processing of flat bar.

The AFCPS 833 features precise positioning using Roller Feed Measuring, eliminating time consuming and cumbersome use of a measuring carriage or truck. The rugged measuring system utilizes a set of precision encoders attached to the idler rollers to measure material travel. Material can now be transferred from both sides of conveyor and is not limited by stock length.
Loading and unloading of long angle iron and flat stock sections, is very expensive and hard work. An Anglemaster material handling system alleviates cost and labor associated with moving sections, with the use of a rapid, automated sequence process. Reduced labor and increasing shop efficiency will result in more profitable processing of angle iron.
Material does not need electricity, heat, or shelter in order to be stored. Peddinghaus' Roller Feed design makes it easy to place material handling outdoors. On top of saving shop space, this innovative method eliminates unnecessary crane handling that inhibits other operations inside of your shop. Easily unload delivery trucks outside, and load conveyor without slowing other parts of your production.

Complete with appropriate material storage stands, each 3.6 Meters (12') stand is equipped with a motorized roller chain assembly for automatic advancement of material. A pneumatic indexing assembly is mounted on the AFCPS, and is designed to gradually lower the next stock length into the infeed conveyor system.

The Powered Material Advance (PMA) device moves material forward that is placed within the clamp. After the material stock is loaded onto the infeed, the PMA is capable of moving the material in both directions, as well as “jogged” into position.
The combination exit conveyor and unloading system are designed for 6 Meter (20') material, however, both can be expanded to accommodate any length of part. The conveyor system offers two separate unloader locations, designed to transport sheared angles at speeds up to 61 meter per minute (200 FPM). The Peddimat software system synchronizes and controls the exit conveyor and unloading system. Total operation of the exit conveyor and unloading system is synchronized and controlled by the Peddimat software programming system.

Combining punching and shearing into a single, compact work station is only the beginning with the AFCPS-833 Revolution. Modern technology, and superior designs of these functions are what brings fabricators to an all new level with this machine.

The Revolution comes standard with 3 punch stations within its rotating single press assembly

The Revolution comes standard with 3 punch stations within its rotating single press assembly. This allows for the production of parts that include up to three hole shapes or sizes, without the need to manually change tooling. Powered by an extraordinary 130 metric ton (144 inch ton) punch press, materials up to 25 mm (1") thick are processed with ease. When tool change is required, the machine's unique rotating press will return to an easy to access vertical "home" position.

Single or Double Cut Shear tooling is available on the Revolution to suit your individual operating requirements. Applying 153 metric tons / 169 inch tons of force, each set of shear tooling provides benefits that prove to be critical to quality, and cost cutting concerns.
If superior cut quality, or heavier component production is required the double cut shear is the ideal option for your application.
If many shorter, or smaller parts are processed, the single cut shear ensures that no unnecessary scrap material is created, and eliminates the need to create a "slug" per each shear cycle.

A one-of-a-kind concept, the SignoPlate part stamping system utilizes a single plate, populated with up to 44 different characters for part numbering, or layout requirements. Due to its innovative design, the SignoPlate stamping press is capable of marking on the near or the far leg of angle, as well as plate that is loaded onto either side of "v" shaped conveyor.
Part dimpling, or "pop-marking" can also be achieved via the punch tooling. When creating layout marks, the punch cylinder utilizes a shorter stroke and only lightly dimples material using the tip of the punch tool. This allows for clear and concise layout designation.

The AFCPS-833 features an unmatched clamping system for rigid work piece transport through the machine. Equipped with 5 entry and 5 exit clamps for stabilizing material during production, the AFCPS-833 maintains center to the primary support wheels.
During the Machine cycle, an additional hydraulic stripper mechanism is applied assuring accuracy, productivity, and increased tool life.

Additionally, Peddinghaus software for the 833 includes the following productive features:
“Auto-Nest” — This facility allows the operator to create with ease Multipart Programs automatically by specifying the stock size, length, the tool diameter and the directory containing the parts required for manufacture. The “Auto-Nest” selects parts from the chosen directory and generates an optimized program or Mult to maximize production efficiency with minimum waste of material.
“Material Mizer” — Conventional angle lines that utilize a material positioning carriage typically cannot process the last 200 mm to 300 mm (8” to 12”) of the material stock length which becomes scrap. The “Material Mizer” from Peddinghaus permits the last part within the nest to be gauged from the trailing end so the overall material scrap can be as little as 13mm (1/2”).

The parts tracking utility is a program created for monitoring production of material on Peddinghaus machines using Siemens controls.

The parts tracking utility is a program created for monitoring production of material on Peddinghaus machines using Siemens controls.
This program is not immediately visible to the machine operator and works in the background of the CNC control.
This program creates an output file at a desired location that displays vital information about part production. By monitoring specific internal machine communications, the program will document the use of your machine. This can include an array of items, ranging from the number of holes punched or drilled to the amount of time the operator paused the machine.

Program Requirements
Peddimat version 1.09.07 must be installed on the machine, for the production control to work. This is because the header of the part file that is run on Peddimat version 1.09.07 has to be in a specific order. The machine must have a Siemens 840 Di or newer control.
