Powered by a 13.5 HP (10 kW) motor, the Avenger is outfitted with a single drill spindle. With through the tool coolant, the Avenger is able to drill in excess of 30,000 holes per drill with resharpening.
Break-Through Detection Technology for Faster Drilling
Peddinghaus engineers pioneered a system that instantaneously senses material break-through notifying the machine of the moment a hole is completed and immediately advancing to the next hole in a pattern. Break-through detection technology is designed to increase the amount of time that your drill is actually drilling material.
Drilling Tower Measurement
The Avenger is outfitted with a unique measurement system for ultimate accuracy. Instead of moving the profile for processing, the Avenger moves the drilling tower to eliminate crane handling. By applying a set of precision encoders that track the distance the tower has traveled, the machine is able to produce perfect parts.
Sturdy Drill Clamping to Eliminate Vibration
Superior clamping is key to tool life and a higher return on investment. Proper clamping for drilling requires maximum table support and superior surface area contact to ensure a rigid workpiece.
